U.S. Concessions, based in Belton, South Carolina, has a premium 30,000 sq. ft. production facility. Clients are welcome to visit the factory to see the level of engineering and craftsmanship that is put into each project. Here’s what you can expect to see:
After the pre-planning and design review stages, a trailer or truck is moved into one of the various stages of production. Trailers are started from raw steel in the welding and fabrication department and the up-fit/build process for trucks is typically started in the finishing department. Once trailers have moved through the base frame and sidewall stages of welding and fabrication, they are inspected and moved through the paint process.
Once inspected from paint, the trailers are then started in the finishing department. The trailers or trucks begin in the finishing department by having interior floor and wall coverings and electrical installed. Once cleared from the electrical inspection, any exterior sheeting, trim, interior options, equipment, and furnishings are installed. The shipping and receiving warehouse receives shipments of equipment. In order to prevent damage or scratching, all project equipment such as hot holding cabinets, refrigerators, smokers, ovens, steam tables or worktop tables are safely held in the warehouse and out of the working area until the finishing department requests them.
Finally, windows and doors will be mounted on the trailers or trucks followed by the application of vinyl graphics or graphic wraps. Each trailer or truck then goes through a thorough, multi-step final inspection and will be cleaned and prepared for delivery or factory pick-up.
